Tales Of Symphonia Remastered is coming to PlayStation Plus Premium next week alongside several other classic titles.

Announced on the PlayStation Blog yesterday afternoon, Tales Of Symphonia is joining the PlayStation Plus Premium classic games library on the 20th February.

Namco’s RPG epic tells the story of Lloyd Irving, a young swordsman that sets out on a quest to save the world of Sylvarant before discovering a connected alternative world that also teeters on the brink of destruction.

Tales Of Symphonia originally launched on the Nintendo GameCube back in 2003 before it was ported to the PlayStation 2 the following year.

The title received critical acclaim and even earned one of the top spots in our best Tales games list thanks to its gorgeous visuals and heartfelt storline.

The remastered version of Tales of Symphonia arriving on PlayStation Plus includes enhanced graphics, three player local co-op and the timelessly beautiful soundtrack.

Premium Classics

Tales Of Symphonia isn’t the only classic title arriving on PlayStation Plus Premium next week. Another updated Tales game, Tales Of Vesperia, will arrive on the same day as Tales of Symphonia Remastered.

Jet Rider 2 (or Jet Moto 2 outside of Europe) is the second hover bike racing game to grace PlayStation Plus in recent months, with the first game appearing at the end of 2023.

PSP sci-fi shooter Resistance: Retribution will be gunning down Chimera when it also arrives on PlayStation Plus the same day as Tales of Symphonia on the 20th February.

The previously handheld exclusive sees players take on the role of former British Marine James Grayson in an alternative history that saw invading alien race, the Chimeria, decimate Europe following the end of World War II.

Here’s hoping that Resistance: Retribution’s addition to PS+ foreshadows a revival of the long dormant series on PlayStation 5.
