It would seem that good news comes in pairs lately, as we just heard of an unrelated fan made metal shell for the Analogue Pocket this week as well.
I’m a big fan of metal shell handheld consoles and I have been begging for one for the Anbernic RG351V.
With the Retroid Pocket 2 being many people’s favorite handheld of all time, it makes sense to finally see the community make a metal variant come to reality.

HistcoEnterprise has taken the task upon themselves to endure the painstaking process of recreating the Pocket 2 shell from scratch. Which surely is not an easy thing to do. And as far as we can tell, it’s looking pretty spot on!
This is a full front and back shell replacement that you can install yourself. And it comes in absolutely gorgeous looking gold, blue, and gun metal grey colorways.
Surely, if the project is supported, we will see more color options and maybe even a Pocket 2S shell replacement next?

If anything is better than a metal shell for one of the best handhelds of all time… You can even pay to have HistcoEnterprise send you a fully re-skinned Retroid Pocket 2 or Retroid Pocket 2+ already inside the metal shell.
