We're soon going to be at the point where everything can play everything, which in the case of retro media isn't a bad thing. A new open-source project called Xodus is aiming to bring Xbox PC games to Linux, and it's been piquing gamers' interests on socials today.
The mad thing is that Microsoft and Xbox aren't the ones behind this, even though they're doing great things for game preservation at the minute. The team behind Xodus already has Xbox account authentication and game downloads working, as well as license acquisition.

Game Pass and the games themselves don't currently work, which I think you'll agree is a bit of a stumbling block. Still, the progress made so far in such a short space of time is incredible. It won't be long until we could see Xbox games running on the Steam Deck, or even the SteamBoy once they get the design right.
