The time is now - the Vectrex Mini is officially available on Kickstarter, and we couldn't be more excited about this classic console's return!
David Oghia of Vectrex has had an exciting journey reviving the Vectrex in mini form so far, from a surprise showcase to the world at Gamescom 2025 to apearing on the Retro Dodo Podcast and divulging exclusive details of new Limited Edition variants planned for the future.
We sat down to talk with David about what it takes to bring an iconic machinc like the Vectrex back in miniature form, and how he and his team has done everything possible to keep the new miniature as close to the original machine as possible, preserving the charm of the console and keeping the nostalgia real for Vectrex fans.

Now that the project is live, you'll be able to pick from three tiers on the Kickstarter:
- Vectrex Mini - Founder's Edition: €99 (Limited to 50 units)
- Vectrex Mini - Early Bird: €129 (Limited to 200 units)
- Vectrex Mini - Standard Edition: €149
There will also me a special Vectrex Mini -White Edition priced at €219 limited to 200 units.
Multiple add-ons such as a Bluetooth control panel, the 'Electric Lines' Vectrex Book, and various T-shirts are also available when purchasing the mini console.
With 6,552 followers currently waiting to be notified when the console launches on Kickstarter at the time of writing, I think that David and his team are going to have an instant success on their hands.
