If, like me, you grew up playing Kirby's Dreamland on the Game Boy, then this LEGO set will hit you right in the feels. We've had a lot of Nintendo LEGO over the years, from Mario sets and Mario Kart to, most recently, The Legend of Zelda. But Kirby hasn't ever featured in the blocky spotlight.

That could all change, but it's going to need your help to become a reality.

This LEGO Ideas set from JP Arts02 is the perfect homage to Kirby's world, with all of the main Kirby characters including Bandanna Waddle Dee, Meta Knight, and King Dedede joining the pink peril himself for some Dreamland antics.

There's even Whispy Woods and Kracko to provide some antagonism too, as well as an all-important Warp Star and a backdrop that looks ready for some serious playtime.

JP Arts02 has also paid homage to HAL Laboratory with two hidden 'HAL' logos. Ok, one of them isn't that hidden as you can see from the picture above, but you'll need to have a keen eye to spot the other one!

As a lifelong Kirby fan, this is a set that I would definitely have to mess around and play with rather than just being a display piece. It would look great on a shelf, but come on, that Whispy Woods needs some serious beatdowns from King Dedede's hammer!

This set has just 17 days at the time of writing to get to 5,000 supporters, otherwise it's game over. It needs to get just over 2,000 supporters in that time, and it's totally free to back it. If it reaches 5,000 votes, it will receive more time to get to the 10,000 supporters stage needed for LEGO to consider it for an official LEGO Ideas set.

So, if you want to see a Kirby LEGO set, then head over to the LEGO Ideas page and show your support for free. Let's go, Kirby!
