Exciting reveals are happening for the upcoming Super Mario Bros Movie, including a brand new poster that dropped just hours ago!
This comes hot on the heels of a recent trailer drop, where we got to hear Seth Rogen’s take on Donkey Kong for the first time, as well as a glimpse at a Mario catsuit. *meow*
We are less than three months away from the April 7th release date, and it couldn’t come any quicker.
It should go without saying that we are wildly excited for what will surely be the best Mario movie.
I mean, it’s not like it has any strong competition. We were obligated to mention it on our list of all Nintendo movies, but we all try to forget that first Mario movie.
With an all-star cast, incredible animation from Illumination, and what appears to be an interesting story set in the Super Mario Bros. universe… we’ve got high hopes for the film.
By now, we have had a look and listen to pretty much every character we know about in the film.
Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Donkey Kong, Bowser.
There will surely be some surprises in the film, but I doubt we’d get anything as big as a surprise character reveal.
It’s safe to guess they are saving something like Wario for a sequel. Can’t give us everything all at once!
Plus, give them all the time they need to work on that rumored Legend of Zelda Movie. That’s an important one to get right.
We’ve seen the trailers, we’ve seen the posters, we’ve even seen new merchandise… now we just gotta see this movie!
