I don't need to tell you how amazing and influential Ocarina of Time is... but I'm going to anyway. I mean, it's my favourite game for a reason, as well as the highest-rated game of all time. Without it, we wouldn't have z-targeting, sprawling words, or memes about that annoying owl (Kaeporra Gaeborra if you're a super nerd like me). It's a game with a proper tale to it, epic bosses - pure perfection. But it's not often that you still find perfect copies of the game in its original box these days.

With the arrival of the Ocarina of Time remake coming on Switch 2 this year and it being the 40th anniversary of the Zelda series, the world is jumping back into Hyrule fever once more. Now is the time to be thinking about picking up some Zelda merchandise, and if you have a lot of money burning a hole in your pocket, then you could put a bid in for this sealed Mint 9.8 A++ copy of Ocarina of Time, graded by PSA. It's one of the 'most pristine' examples of the game available today and the first time in four years that fans have been able to bid on a copy in such good condition.

According to Heritage Auctions, 'Out of 150 standard copies of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on PSA's May 2026 population report, this example is tied with just four others for the highest grade, placing it among the top 3%.' There are actually fewer standard editions left in this condition compared to Collector's Editions, and a quick browse on Heritage Auctions' website shows that a copy in the exact same condition, sealed and 9.8 A++, sold back in 2021 for $228,000!

With 9 days left to go and a current price of $29,000, it means it would have to go up around $199,000 in just over a week, which we all know is possible when bids get heated. I'm going to be watching this one very closely to see how much it ends up going for - watching, not bidding.

Head to Heritage Auctions to track its progress or place a bid if you're after a truly fantastic piece of Zelda memorabilia!
