Exciting news coming from Retro-bit today; The new Retro-Bit LegacyGC Wired Controller is available for pre-order now!
We thought all of the Game Cube news for the week was over when we covered the The NYXI Wizard Controller.
But it would seem that the Game Cube gods have at least one more for us before the weekend!
So let’s take a closer look at the new Retro-Bit LegacyGC Game Cube controller.
Retro-Bit LegacyGC Details
The Retro-Bit LegacyGC controller is an actual Game Cube and Wii controller. With the Game Cube port and all.
And as you surely noticed, this is more of an SNES style controller, and there are no analogue sticks.
So this doesn’t entirely replace an original Game Cube controller. You’re gonna want this for the games that do not need those extra analogues.
That would still work very well for many of the Best GameCube Games. And it would be even better with the Game Boy Player.
The LegacyGC comes in black and indigo. You know we all want that indigo. Anything Game Cube… Indigo. End of.
This is a wired controller, with the standard Game Cube port, and comes with a 10ft/3m cord.
Overall, this thing is looking pretty slick, and it would be one of the best ways to simplify on the Game Cube for platformers, 2d fighters, and retro games.
Retro-Bit LegacyGC Release Date and Price
The LegacyGC controller is available exclusively through CastleManiaGames, and is technically a pre-order. They are anticipating shipping after January 20th.
The LegacgGC is only $19.99usd, which makes for an easy purchase if you’re still playing an original Game Cube.
