Few puzzle games that stand up to the likes of Myst and Riven. They're two games that just allow you to relax back and play without the threat of dying or having to run away from an antagonist - food for the brain rather than messing with your nerves. I remember playing Myst on an old Mac back in the late 90s and finding myself in this confusing but exciting world, a world that I would grow to understand the riddles and puzzling complexities of more as I got older.

Cyan Worlds has announced that they're bringing remakes of Myst and Riven for the PS5/PS VR2, and a remake of Riven for Xbox Series X/S on May 19th & May 20th in Japan. Seeing Myst remade using Unreal Engine looks, to use the age-old cliche, absolutely unreal. The graphics are phenomenal, the world even more mysterious.
The same goes for Riven too, and the fact that both games have VR compatibility is wild - going through this game as though you were actually there was what VR should have been made for in the first place.
