Update: August 20th, 2026 - The news is out, and while I was hoping beyond hope that it would mean that we're getting a new Rayman racing game, I knew deep down that Rayman would just be appearing as a racer in The Crew Motorfest.
The PHAZR Raycer 30 can be picked up in the game for 70,000 Crew Credits and comes with some Rayman extras including Lums Smoke and Lums Nitro. They're also holding a contest where you can win a toy dashboard figure if you reach Platinum in the current Summit Contest, so you better get your head in the game!

Original Article: August 18th, 2026 - Ubisoft must have woken up and thought, 'You know what, we're just gonna tell the world Rayman is getting a new racing event, and we'll release it tomorrow to blow everyone's minds'. They've taken to social media, including YouTube Shorts, to advertise Rayman's return in a super short video, but it's definitely captured our attention!

The clip is less than 10 seconds long, but seeing Rayman bobbing along in a car and flipping over was all we needed, in all honesty. The post has been shared in collaboration with 'The Crew Motorfest' on X. It's unclear at the minute whether they've just helped to push a new racer for Rayman, or whether Rayman is going to feature in an in-game event in the new Crew Motorfest season. I would be inclined to think the second, as their branding is also on the video posted on X, but we'll see!
All I know is that we'll find out tomorrow, August 19th. There's no time mentioned, so I guess it's just a waiting game! But as soon as I know more, I'll let you know here!
