Most of the main characters in the Mario franchise have got their own game at some point, and this time, it’s Peach’s turn thanks to the newly announced Princess Peach Showtime.
This is Peach’s first foray into a solo adventure on the Switch, and one that’s shaping up to be pretty action packed.
And yes, it’s looking a lot better than her DS outing so far!
Here is all we know on Princess Peach Showtime thanks to all the juicy details we’ve received from the latest Nintendo Direct.
Princess Peach Showtime
In Princess Peach Showtime, you take control of this iconic Mario franchise character to prevent any of the in-game shows from going awry.
This involves Peach visiting various sets, and changing into costumes to match each scenario, and utilizing different powers.
You’ll need these to take on the Sour Bunch and bosses that lie in wait, all with differing mechanics.
But how does Peach get these powers I hear you ask?
Well, introduce Stella, the theatre’s guardian who offers its ribbon magic to help save the day.
This intriguing ribbon will be your partner along the way, aiding you wherever possible.
But, sometimes these powers aren’t enough, and those outfit changes are what’s needed.
Become Swordfighter Peach, Detective Peach, Kung Fu Peach, and more, setting the stage for you to rescue each play.
If you want to get your hands on Princess Peach Showtime, you won’t have to wait too long.
That’s because the Princess Peach Showtime release date is March 22, 2024, making it around six months away from time of writing. Happy days!
