Did you play the Roblox Pokémon Fangame 'Pokémon Brick Bronze'? I know, some of you probably won't even know what Roblox is, and that's fine - we grew up with N64s and the SNES, not Roblox. Essentially, you can code your own games inside Roblox, though it was taken down after the Pokémon Company got wind of it. Still, like the Shards of Narsil, it has been reforged in a new game, 'Pokémon Reforged Bronze, brought back to life thanks to Pokémon Essentials 21.1 and RPG Maker XP.
A lot of people played Pokémon Brick Bronze, and now Aurum Blaze has brought the game back in a GBA-esque remake. Formally called Pokémon Rusted Bronze, the demo for Reforged Bronze has all 27 starters to choose from as well as the same story players will remember from Brick Bronze. The region of Roria returns, with a different environment to explore as you head to each Pokémon Gym.
27 starters - that's a lot of choice! You can pick from each of the three critters from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, and Paldea before you start. All random encounters have gone in this demo, being replaced with overworld encounters just like we had in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Reforged Bronze brings in the concept of Data-type Pokémon as well as Virus Pokémon. You'll take part in Dataspace challenges in both Silvent City and Lagoona Lake.
The demo goes all the way up to the 4th Gym in Anthian City, though there are 3 post-demo battles included for players to have a go at to give them a taste of what's to come. There's also a free shiny charm available from your Home PC in-game, and a special event Pokémon available to nab.
