Back when I was playing Pokémon Red on my Yellow Game Boy DMG, I would have never thought that I would be writing about a couple of different Pokémon ROM hacks every single week. To be honest, I wouldn't have known what a Pokémon ROM hack was back then, but now I live in a world where the Retro Gaming community creates classic Pokémon adventures on a regular basis, and I'm so glad that I get to be a part of it.

The official launch trailer for Pokémon Nova has arrived from Phion Games, and it looks amazing. The game is set to launch on June 20th and features an open-world adventure with 25+ hours of story content to dive into. Explore the Ultra Megalopolis from Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon and gear up for an exciting Postgame section once you've beaten the 20 Rank Leaders.

That's how to do a release trailer! From the trailer alone, I can see that this is going to be one of those ROM hacks that is heavily focused on narrative. I need a good story to keep me engaged in a game, and Pokémon Nova looks like it's going to twin that with some crazy challenges and interactive elements along the way.

The graphics and cutscenes look wild, and I'm excited that it's also going to be a widescreen adventure too - maximum Pokémon on my screen, baby! The game is set to release in both English and Spanish and will be available on the Phion Games Blogspot on Saturday!
