I know, I'm excited by the title too. I love looking at Pokémon fangames as you guys well know, and while I'm always intrigued by the new storylines, postgames, and challenges, I always enjoy when someone brings a new concept into the mix. It's great when we get different versions of Pokémon Emerald, but a new, fresh idea - that's always going to grab my attention.

Welcome to Pokémon Farwinds from Sky Fangames, a Pokémon fangame where you ditch the Pokémon gym battles and take to the fields and build a Pokémon farm from the ground up. You'll use tools to build terrain, plant berries and apricorns, create animal enclosures for Pokémon to live and reproduce, look after your Pokémon, buy and sell materials, and much more.

So far, Pokémon Farwinds sounds like a cross between Stardew Valley and Pokopia. You'll need to interact with neighbours from the local town, find a partner, decorate your farmhouse to create a nice living space, and head out into the world to find cool collectibles.
The fact that Sky Fangames is putting in minigames too really excites me. It's an alternative Pokémon adventure that I'm really looking forward to playing. Right now, it's still in development, with Sky Fangames stating that this is their 'most ambitious game to date'.
Head to the official Pokémon Farwinds page to check out more pictures, and keep your eyes peeled here for when the demo officially drops!
