No matter where you joined the Pokémon series, Kanto remains the most loved region. It's where it all began back in Pokémon Red and Blue, and it's the region we fell in love with from the original anime series, and while collecting the cards of the critters that lived there.
Pokémon Adventure is a new fan game that begins in Viridian City. It follows the same format of beating 8 gym leaders as the classic games, but lying underneath the main narrative is a story that's stirring in the shadows, a plot that gives the game a more sinister feel that separates it from its happier counterparts.
Created by Netobrgames, you play as 12-year-old trainer Neto and travel with his best pal Squirtle around Kanto in a time before the events that took place in Galar in Pokémon Sword and Shield. You'll discover why Pokémon have been attacking humans and make friends with different characters as you progress. One of the things I love the most about this game is that there are 10 endings planned for the player, depending on the choices they make while playing and the friendships they forge.
The game currently finishes as you enter Saffron City, so it's not fully finished. Still, what Netobrgames has created so far is very fun and well put together, especially for their first Pokémon fan game.
