PowerA have teamed up with everyone's favourite ghost-dodging, dot-munching hero PAC-MAN to bring a special line of licensed accessories to modern gamers everywhere. The new peripheral range celebrates 45 years of PAC-MAN and brings arcade vibes to next-gen consoles.
If you're a Nintendo Switch fan and want to protect your console while showing off your love for a gaming hero, then the PAC-MAN Retro Arcade case has a moulded interior and space to store 9 game cards. The best bit about it, however, is the fact that you can customise it with a sticker kit to create your own PAC-MAN arcade scene. It might not be as nostalgic as our 90s gaming room sticker kit, but it's up there!
The PowerA PAC-MAN case is set to cost $22.99/£14.99 and will release on March 25th.
Still, the Wireless Xbox Controller for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, & Windows could well be the star of the show, with its Hall-effect thumbsticks and PAC-MAN scene married with a bright yellow shell. This thing oozes retro gaming so much that it almost feels slightly wrong to be playing modern games with it! PowerA have included adjustable sensitivity preferences and an integrated headset dial into the controller, but that's not even the best bit - the maze detail is actually glow-in-the-dark!
The PAC-MAN x PowerA Xbox controller is set to cost £99/$99 and is available to order now! It's worth noting that orders on Amazon UK say that they will take 3 to 7 months to ship, so my advice would be to buy from the US site.
