PAC-MAN is definitely taking his time when it comes to dragging out these birthday celebrations, and to be honest, we'd do the same thing if we had his legendary status.
To celebrate 45 years of service to the gaming industry, the fastest character on the planet has decided to drop by PAC-MAN World 2 with some gifts for the arcade hero. Sonic appears in the new DLC and speeds past our dot-munching hero, dropping some gifts for him in the process, one of which gives PAC-MAN a new, blue get-up that will take you right back to the days of the Genesis.

As well as new stages, there are some other great features in the DLC... I mean, inside Sonic's gifts. Players will receive a digital figurine of Sonic, the Sonic costume shown in the featured image of this article, a PAC-Sonic arcade game that PAC-MAN can tap into to experience Sonic's world, and a Gashapon gift machine that players can use coins collected to get figures from.
PAC-MAN World 2: RE-PAC is out now on PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X. If you're a Sonic fan and want to help Signor PAC celebrate his birthday in the best possible way, then grab a copy, download the DLC, and party like it's 1991 (aka the day Sonic was born!).
