We've had the ModRetro 64 in the office for almost 3 months now, updating it as ModRetro makes its ongoing tweaks and putting the prototype to the test when it comes to emulation performance. It's a remarkable device that any N64 fan will enjoy.
Though, as mentioned in our hands-on video and article, ModRetro did not inform me about what specific features would be available at launch. They mentioned an array of features, including overclocking, save states, Chromatic video pass through, filters and more, but it was unavailable on my prototype, and the ModRetro team were very transparent at the time, stating that they're unsure what it will ship with as of right now.
But that's now a thing of the past, and ModRetro has informed me of the exact features M64 customers will get at launch and what features will be available after launch via OTA updates, so let me inform you of the specifics!
