We were all hoping to see some Metroid Prime 4 footage on the new Nintendo Direct, but what I didn't expect to see was Samus riding a new bike around what looks like the Gerudo Desert before jumping up towards a space station and shooting some space wolves.
As if the game couldn't get any more exciting, the fact that we're seeing Samus targeting enemies while riding and moving from a 1st to 3rd person view with a seamless transition is amazing. The game is looking absolutely spectacular with cutscenes that show off the power of the Nintendo Switch 2 perfectly.
Nintendo have also tripled down on their promise that Metroid Prime 4 is coming this year by listing a December 4th launch date, which means that we'll all be taking the Samus Cycle around the universe on Christmas Day (as long as we've been good and Santa brings us the game, that is!).
