The older I get, the more I want to collect. I think that’s the thing about being a 90s kid who’s grown up and now has adult money and their own house, and while my girlfriend probably wishes I was putting my cash away for a rainy day, it’s burning a hole in my wallet for physical media and limited edition products that my younger self would be proud of. It’s the very reason I’m so excited about the new Phantasy Star Online merch drop from Limited Run Games – any chance to pay homage to a Dreamcast classic and add some more nerdy items to my collection is one I’ll jump at… although I may need a bigger office soon!

It wasn’t too long ago that I was covering the Sonic Adventure clothing and accessory launch they dropped, and now they’re back with a whole bunch of goodies based on one of the most exciting MMORPGs ever made.

You might remember me covering the arrival of Sega Dreamcast Trading Cards back in September 2024. Limited Run Games partnered with Sega to sell the set, and now you can purchase a commemorative Dreamcast game case with the Phantasy Star Online game artwork and a pack of PSO trading cards inside as well as a limited edition game screen trading card. The set looks insanely nostalgic and is limited to 500 units, and you can twin it with a themed card binder, card sleeves, and PSO storage box for all of your Dreamcast cards.
