When LEGO first announced that they were taking arguably the greatest series of all time and giving it the block-building treatment, I was incredibly excited. Sure, I love Mario, but Zelda sets are where it's at for me, and seeing Link in miniature form with his trademark Kokiri hat takes me right back to playing Ocarina of Time for the first time.
We've already got the Deku Tree set, and now The Final Battle from Ocarina of Time has been announced and is available to pre-order on the LEGO website. If you haven't checked out that set, then take a look at the video below to see LEGO's majestic marketing in action.
A comment underneath the video is what's got me feeling a little bit like a kid in a candy store at Christmas, however. When Instagram user @tominda asked LEGO if they were going to make a Hyrule Castle or Kakariko Village set to go with the Deku Tree and The Final Battle, LEGO's response was very cryptic.
They simply wrote 'One must believe... great things often start as whispers' with a winking emoji. That isn't 'no', and it's not 'maybe one day'. That sounds like these sets are already on the agenda!

A few years back, I wrote about a LEGO Ideas set of Hyrule Castle with lots of hidden easter eggs inside of it, including heart pieces and chests to open up. The set by Artem Biziaev reached 10,000 votes but was unfortunately unsuccessful with the LEGO Ideas board. I had it in my head back then that LEGO would probably want to make their own set one day, which was the main reason why they didn't take the idea and run with it... and I think that day could finally be around the corner.
A LEGO Kakariko village would be amazing too; imagine a miniature version of Dampe the Grave Digger, and little LEGO Gorons rolling down from Death Mountain. I would be interested to have the guy who teaches you the Song of Storms from the Windmill there too - that guy gets such a hard rap!
Would you love to see Hyrule Castle and Kakariko Village sets? What other parts of Ocarina of Time would you like to see made into blocky form too? Let us know below!
