The LEGO Transformer line kicked off with Optimus Prime respectfully back in 2022, and now they’re giving the LEGO Icons treatment to one of the most loved Transformers of the bunch, Bumble Bee!
Today LEGO officially revealed their all new Icon set, featuring Bumble Bee, built with 950 pieces in total and comes with the ability to transform into a car. LEGO launched this to celebrate Transformers 40th anniversary in style.
It’s a much smaller set compared to the Optimus Prime set that launched with 1,508 piece but nonetheless just as impressive as it has almost the same playability to it.
This set will be available to purchase on the 1st July and will retail for $89.99/£79.99, making it an awesome gift for birthdays and Christmas, especially for those who love the 80’s cartoon as this set is a highly detailed model of the original 1980’s action figure.
Switching between Autobot and Vehicle mode is easy, intuitive and fun, each mode has a bunch of details and hidden features, alongside a small selection of stickers for you to customise your Transformer.
It comes with a display plaque, a jetpack and a ion blaster, making it both an awesome display piece and an incredible toy too!
