Lego and Nintendo have officially unveiled a set based on the Great Deku tree, the iconic deity from The Legend Of Zelda series. Nintendo revealed the set, officially named 77092 The Legend Of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 in a post on Twitter this afternoon before Lego launched the product page on their website.
As the title suggests, this Great Deku Tree Lego set will let players create two different versions of the Deku Tree, one based on its appearance in Breath Of The Wild and one from Ocarina Of Time. The 2,500-piece set will ship with several items fans of the games will recognise including the Ocarina of Time itself, the Hylian Shield, and the Master Sword.
Four new Lego minifigures come with the Great Deku Tree set with three different versions of Link and one Princess Zelda in the box. The three different versions of Link include Young Link and Link from Ocarina Of Time as well as his Breath Of The Wild incarnation, while Princess Zelda dons her blue tunic from Breath Of The Wild. Link and Zelda of course aren’t the only characters here though, with the Deku Tree himself able to display several different expressions thanks to the posable facial features and accessible panels on the sides.
The set, which is aimed at adults, is available for pre-order now from the Lego website for £259.99/$299.99/€299.99 and is scheduled to launch on the 1st of September 2024. Anyone purchasing the Great Deku Tree Lego set should also ensure they have enough room to display this chunky build, which measures in at 33cm tall.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Nintendo has partnered with Lego for products based on their classic franchises, with the company behind the Nintendo Switch showcasing both Mario and Animal Crossing in their own sets previously.
