I know I'm an adult and should be spending my money on 'sensible' things, but I've just seen the new Donkey Kong Toy set from Jakks Pacific, and I've had to put my wallet in a safe. Donkey Kong has been one of my all-time favourite characters from being a child - playing Donkey Kong Country on the SNES, watching the cartoon on TV with my friends, and discovering Donkey Kong 64 with the Expansion Pak wrapped up under my tree one Christmas.
DK has a new look, and Jakks have captured it in a new Jungle Adventure Diorama alongside Diddy Kong, Rambi the Rhino, and a DK Barrel, complete with a palm tree for good measure. Check out the short teaser below.
DK's limbs move, and it looks like Diddy and Rambi can be positioned into custom stances too. I've had a look on the Jakks Pacific online store and haven't found anything about a price or a release date yet, but I'll update this article as soon as I have that information!
