How To Get Flamigo In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (The Easy Way)

how to get flamigo

Flamigo is a Pokemon that was revealed before the game released. Announced in trailers it was much loved by many Pokemon fans across Twitter.

With that many are looking to add this Pokemon to their team, but are having a hard time finding it due to it’s uncommon apperance.

But do not fear, here’s how to get Flamigo in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

Where To Catch Flamigo In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Flamigo can be found south east of Zapapito in East Province (Area Two). I found it close to the cliff edge on its own.

This was a surprise when I found it, as it was not teased on the map, nor had I seen it before, as if it was incredibly random in this area. Being near water certainly helped the chances of finding it.

It can also be found in the following locations, further through the game:

  • South Province (Area One)
  • Casserova Lake
  • West Province (Area Three)
  • East Province (Area Three)
  • South Province (Area Six)

Flamigo is a fighting and flying type Pokemon that cannot evolve. Never before have Pokemon used a flamingo as a design until now, making it a unique catch.

Not so unique is its name, a letter short of flamingo… how innovative.

It can be quite aggressive, and will do some serious damage to your water starter Pokemon, so be sure to keep som potions around or use a type that counters it like flying.

If you enjoyed this guide and want more extras, be sure to keep an eye on the mystery gift codes for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there may be some freebies over the coming months.
