How to Change Uniform in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

how to change uniform in pokemon legends arceus

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a refreshing new take on the Pokemon formula, taking players back in time to a point in the Pokemon universe’s history where bonds were still being formed with the creatures and even things such as Poke Balls and the Pokedex were new inventions.

There’s a lot of new or completely revamped gameplay elements in Arceus, so even doing something as straightforward as changing your outfit is something that isn’t necessarily obvious when first playing – but we’ll help you out and point you in the right direction!

The first thing to be aware of is this: don’t panic if you can’t change your uniform straight away!

You actually don’t even have the option until you’ve completed the mission ‘The Galaxy Team’s Entry Trial’. This mission is pretty easy – it’ll see you catching three different Pokemon: a Bidoof, a Starly and a Shinx.

How To Change Your Uniform In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

To change your uniform in Pokemon Legends: Arceus all you’ll have to do is complete the mission called “The Galaxy Team’s Entry Trial” and head to your home in Jubilife Village. Head inside and go to your mirror, and simply press A to change outfit.

Though you’ll only start with a few items of clothing unlocked at the beginning, there are plenty more that’ll become available over the course of the game. None of the uniform changes will have an effect on gameplay but it’s a neat way of being able to customise and personalise your character to truly make them your own.

Another thing that’s worth knowing is that it’s also possible to change your hairstyle to further personalise your character.

If you speak to Edith – a hairdresser – in Jubilife Village, she’ll be able to offer you a new hairstyle.

You can also increase the selection of hairstyles available from Edith, by completing quests for her.

Just like the uniform changes, the option of speaking to Edith won’t be available until you’ve completed ‘The Galaxy Team’s Entry Trial’, so don’t panic if you can’t find or speak to Edith until you’ve finished that particular mission.

So that’s all you need to know in order to truly make your character in Pokemon Legends Arceus either a reflection of your real life look or – if you’re so inclined – just to give them a random mixture of clothing items and hairstyles.

Whatever you decide, we hope you have fun making your character look exactly how you want them to!
