I know it might be a little bit early to be talking about Christmas, but it's never too early to talk about the PS1. Retro gaming might be for life and not just for Christmas, but it's certainly what Christmas is all about for nerds like me, and a Christmas Tree looks a lot better when it's adorned with retro consoles.
Hallmark have made a lot of cool retro-themed tree ornaments of late. We made a list of some of the best last year, but I think they may have excelled themselves this year. On July 11th, a PS1 ornament that shows the green power-on light and makes the iconic console start-up sound is coming, and it's going to be the sound of my Christmas.
The ornament itself is 4" x 1.5" x 3.75" and priced at $28. It goes on sale on July 11th from the Hallmark website, and I'll be sure to post more links in here as and when they become available.
