It targets a massive audience, both young and old, but due to the nature of the game it’s demographic is those that like to take their time with video games, explore every room and find new puzzles to complete, all while being in the Super Mario universe.

Table of Contents
1. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was released on Nintendo Switch in 2018 selling over one million units and is still being played by thousands to this day, even in co-op mode (which we highly advise).
It’s a action based puzzle game that’s a spin-off of the Super Mario series that builds on the classic mini games, but instead featuring the one and only Captain Toad.
You get to explore a variety of tricky sandbox-style levels, you can rotate the camera for a better view to help you find hidden treasures and Nintendo have even added in Super Mario Odyssey Levels too!
But the best bit, is that you can play through all of this with a friend using the extra joy-con. One player controls Captain Toad, and the other can assist with things like turnip cover fire you can track down even more treasure.
2. Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario Oydssey is one of the most popular games for the Nintendo Switch, and took the handheld to the next level. It’s a semi-open world adventure puzzle game that not only boasts impressive graphics but also an incredible gaming experience.
Mario’s hat is magical, and you team up with it to adventure around the world to tackle puzzles, defeat Goomba’s and beat the one and only Bowser. What makes this game great is the sheer size of the game.
It’s a good investment due to how long it will take to complete and is one of the best games like Luigi’s Mansion 3 for the primary reason that it’s a bigger, more upbeat game, but instead, you’re Mario in a bigger world and beating things rather than “discovering/finding” things.

3. Luigi’s Mansion
This may be a tricky one for you to try out as it’s one of the best Gamecube games around, and we all know buying an old Gamecube is far too expensive, so perhaps emulation is a route to play the original Luigi’s Mansion released in 2001.
Luigi’s Mansion is where it all began, it was Nintendo’s test on featuring Luigi as the main character, and it turned out to be an aboslute gem, and is stated as one of Nintendo’s best retro games of all time.
It started Luigi’s journey on the big screen, and it’s why you purchased Luigi’s Mansion 3, so there’s no better way to find games like Luigi’s Mansion 3 than by playing what started it all.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a enhanced version of Pikmin 3, which is a sequel to the original Pikmin which was launched on Gamecube in 2001, starting off an awesome franchise of adorable characters that will be remember for years to come.
The Deluxe edition features many new additions, including side stories and the multiplayer gameplay in Story Mode, which is why it’s on this games like Luigi’s Mansion 3 list, because who doesn’t love co-op games?
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a real-time strategy game release in late 2020, and why its on the list quite simply comes down to how adorable it is, and the style of gameplay. Admittedly, Luigi’s Mansion 3 isn’t a real-time strategy game, but both (in my opinion) are peaceful games that can be played and paused at anytime, giving it a comfortable relaxed vibes.
And that’s exactly the vibe that Pikmin has to offer. It gets you thinking, but not so much that you can’t go grab a snack, or head out to the shops when in the middle of the game.
Because it’s developed by Nintendo, you’ll also get that Nintendo-like feel to the game, with awesome music, fluid gameplay and memorable characters.

Resident Evil: Village takes the franchise to next-gen consoles and it’s unlike anything we’ve ever played. The graphics are incredible and the monsters are so well designed that it deserves an award for scariest video game of 2021, hands down.
If you like the spooky, scary aspect of Luigi’s Mansion 3 and want something that takes that to the extreme, then this is a game for you, and it’s especially good on next-gen consoles, just make sure you prepare yourself… by that we mean an extra pair of clean pants.

You control a hardworking labourer called john, who must guide a girl named Sam through dangerous locations, strange monsters and hard puzzles.
The visual style is inspired by 90’s Japanese animation, partly because the development team loved it and they were also inspired by the Mother and Legend of Zelda series which is obvious when you start playing Eastward.
It’s a fun, loving game, that you can’t help but love. It’s easy to understand, a visual masterpiece and it’s a game we keep going back to, so that’s why it’s on this list.
