I reviewed the original GKD350H way back in 2020. It was a handheld that impressed me at the time, and in comparison to its competitors like ANBERNIC, it was outperforming them in almost every way, for the same price.
Now 5 years on, GKD's latest invention is the Pixel 2, which has been hugely popular... if you can get your hands on one.
So when I saw a rumour on Billibilli about the GKD350H returning, it gave me a serious sense of de'javu.

A video showcasing a simple, blacked out design of the upcoming device shared more information about its screen size, and what this horizontal handheld will focus on.
That focus seems to be the GAME BOY Color, which is odd seeing as it's a horizontal form factor, but the video shares information about the 3.5" LCD display, which will have a resolution of 1600x1440.
Which is enough to upscale GBC games by 10x naturally. This may use a similar screen to the Analogue Pocket, or even the upcoming AYANEO Vert, which may mean these displays are in mass manufacturing and more affordable to buy now in China.
It will also be a Linux-based handheld, instead of Android, come with an analogue stick and will obviously be able to emulate more than just GBC games.
The person who shared this video, known as Neon Rabbit, signalled that this could follow the Pixel 2's footsteps in terms of a glass display with a metal shell, which I know many of us will be happy to hear.
None of this information is confirmed by GAMEKIDDY themselves, but this direction doesn't feel too out of the ordinary for them, and if crafted correctly, just like their Pixel devices, I am sure it will find its way into the hands of many.
We'll keep you updated with more information once announced.
