All Free Halo: Combat Evolved Skins [Full Code List]

I've been waiting for this game ever since they announced it last year, and as of yesterday, it finally landed in my hands, taking me back down memory lane in a way that feels nostalgic yet new. It's a remarkable game so far, and no doubt many of you are enjoying it and learning about the new skins available for both your armour and weapons.

Well, if you're like me, a scabby gamer who loves freebies, then you'll be happy to know there are a fair few free skins in Halo: Combat Evolved, some involve some work and signing up to things, but it is possible, so I've scoured the web and put together a list of all of the free skins I can find.

Silver Anniversary

• Skin Code: N/A
• Available until: Eternity

This anniversary skin is available to all Halo: Combat Evolved players and can be found in your customisations menu on the main menu when first loading up your game.

Sandstone Ancient

• Skin Code: L563-J46G-PZN1-SBF2-AXN6
• Available until: Eternity

This is a code shared by Halo Studios across their social media as a thank you and an apology for launch problems on Xbox and PC. Free for all to use.

Damascus Prototype

• Skin Code: GWT9-DNBT-7X9S-DJCX-8KH3
• Available until: Eternity

This skin is inspired by the newly announced translucent Series X console and was publicly announced for free on launch day via Halo Waypoint.

Hidden Blade

• Skin Code: N/A
• Available until: August 3rd 2026

To obtain this skin, visit Discord, then head to the Quests Tab. You will see a quest wanting you to watch the Halo: Combat Evolved Trailer. Watch this trailer all the way through, and it will then allow you to claim a new code for the Hidden Blade skin.

Fantastic Spartan

• Skin Code: N/A
• Available until: Eternity, or until Fanta's collaboration ends.

We've all seen the Fanta cans with Master Chief's helmet on, right? Well, that collaboration goes an extra step. Visit Coca-Cola's Fanta x Halo promo page to start a mini game, this minigame once completed asks you to make a Coca-Cola account, to then sync with your Microsoft account. Once finished and logged in, you'll get an email with a custom code that you then need to redeem in Halo Waypoint.

Stream of the Crop

• Skin Code: N/A
• Available until: 4th August 2026

To claim this, you need to head to Twitch and explore the Halo: Combat Evolved Twitch Drop, this will want you to watch two hours of Halo: Combat Evolved livestreams to unlock. To earn Twitch Drops, you need to have a Twitch account and be signed into Twitch while you are earning the reward. Once you have earned a Twitch Drop it will be visible in your Twitch Drops Inventory. You need to link your Twitch account through Halo Waypoint before you can claim your rewards in Halo Waypoint, which then adds the skin to your game.
