Square-Enix have added multiple Final Fantasy Piano Collections Soundtracks to online streaming services.
Songs from thirteen titles in the long-running JRPG series are now available to stream across all major music streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and Deezer.
The Piano Collections page on Square-Enix’s website confirms that ‘Songs from the ”Piano Collections FINAL FANTASY” series are now available on various distribution services! You can enjoy it through download sales and streaming distribution.’
The statement, translated from Japanese continues with ‘Please enjoy the beautiful music of the ”FINAL FANTASY” series woven with piano tones’.
Background Music Video
In an email announcing the online release of the Final Fantasy Piano Collections to subscribers, Square-Enix also unveiled a new ‘background music video’ for the Square-Enix Music Channel on YouTube.
The new music video features a piece of serene animated artwork of a piano sitting on a moonlit beach surrounded by crystals, a common connective thread between multiple Final Fantasy games.
The 91-minute-long music video for the Final Fantasy Piano Collections is subtitled ‘Night Beach’ and features waves gently lapping against the shore, shooting stars, a passing airship and an occasional fly-by from a curious Moogle.
The video is accompanied by a selection of songs from the newly released Final Fantasy Piano Collections, with each album represented.
The Final Fantasy maker concluded the announcement email by asking fans to ‘please enjoy the video and music together during your relaxing time at night’.
I personally can’t wait to stream these beautiful albums this evening as I sit by the fire and reminisce about my previous adventures through the Final Fantasy series.
