Blaze have opted to celebrate id Software's 35th birthday in the best possible way - by dropping a little teaser to let us know that DOOM is coming to Evercade consoles this year!
On February 1st, 1992, John Carmack, John Romero, Tom Hall, and Adrian Carmack founded id Software and brought one of the greatest games (and most ported onto obscure items) of all time. Now, their legacy will continue in physical form on Blaze's family of consoles, and fans are going wild at the news.

It's a very short teaser, just 15 seconds long in fact, and it mentions Bethesda as well as Evercade and the id Software 35th anniversary logo. As Blaze are known for bringing collections to the VS-R, the EXP-R, and their Super Pocket range of handhelds, fans around the world are keeping everything crossed that there will be more than one game dropping in the DOOM franchise.
Personally, I would love to have DOOM 64 heading my way in a collection that can sit alongside the Tomb Raider and Legacy of Kain collections, as well as the amazing Atari, Neo Geo, and Taito game carts.
All we know is that DOOM is coming this year, but I'll keep you posted with an exact date as and when I get it!
