If you listened to our podcast with Jez San and the team behind Croc, then you'll know that we love this green hero here at Retro Dodo Towers. To celebrate 25 years of Gobbo-saving action, ModRetro have announced the Croc: 25th Anniversary edition, complete with a stunning full colour box and instruction booklet, a snazzy purple cartridge, and a Croc charm to hang from your Chromatic.

With four worlds and 30 levels, players take Croc on an epic side-scrolling adventure through magical lands. Can you stop Baron Dante from carrying out his evil plans, tail-whipping enemies into oblivion in the process?

The game looks amazing on the Chromatic from what we've seen so far, and there are some much-needed quality of life upgrades ot the controls and saving - no need to grab a notebook to write down those level passwords!

While the game is being released by ModRetro for the Chromatic, this will also work on your Game Boy Color or Analogue Pocket too. Pre-orders priced at $44.99 are live now, and games will begin shipping in December. Head to the ModRetro website for more info!
