First 4 Figures have discovered the perfect formula to get me to spend my money. It turns out that all I need is a collectible statue of my favourite retro gaming characters, and my hand is reaching for the credit card without me even realising. It's not too long ago that I was writing about the amazing Spyro figurines available for pre-order, and now they're back with the Crash Bandicoot Classic statue in three different editions to soup up your games room.
Nothing says classic PS1 nostalgia like Crash Bandicoot, and the Definitive Edition of the statue in the featured image of this article proves it. The iconic totems, the man-eating plant, Crash wearing the Aku-Aku Mask - it looks like I've put my hand straight into my TV and pulled a scene right out of the game.
Cleverly, the Aku-Aku Mask attaches onto the end of Crash's nose and can be removed when you just want to showcase Crash in all his glory. The statues vary between 27.4 cm and 31.9 cm, depending on which edition you opt for.
The Definitive Edition is the most expensive of the set at $479 and has the biggest display base with a width of 39cm. The Exclusive Edition, priced at $419, also comes with the Aku-Aku mask but with a much smaller base at 19.9cm, which is simply a square of soil with a fallen totem for Crash to jump over. Both the Definitive and Exclusive Editions come with limited-edition numbering and authentication cards. Finally, the standard edition has the same base width and costs $383, though it comes without the Aku-Aku mask.
Pre-orders are now open on the First 4 Figures website for all three editions, with predicted release dates of Q2 2026. Early-bird offers giving $25 off the Definitive Edition and $20 off the Exclusive and Standard editions of Crash's new figurine are available, as are flexi-pay options spreading the cost of the statue until May 2026. You must place your orders before the 30th of June to take advantage of the early-bird discount, however, so head over to the website to place your order and save some cash!
