The Hoenn region is inhabited by many Pokemon, some of which became popular and are still revered as the greatest Pokemon designs to this day. Some notable examples that come to mind are Flygon, Blaziken, Sceptile, and, of course, Rayquaza, just to name a few.

Even though a remake for the game is available, many fans chose the original Game Boy version over the 3D one, and for good reason; it's one of the best Pokémon games ever made.

But even though the games are great, they follow old game rules in which you’ll have to spend hours grinding before getting anything meaningful. So, why not speed up the repetitive processes and sections which are just plain dull with cheats? This way, you get to enjoy your favourite game, and you have more fun doing it.

These cheats are to be used with emulators such as Delta on iOS or MyBoy! on Android. They are to be paired with "GameShark" cheat codes in your emulator settings.

Never use too many cheats at the same time. Always save the game before you use any cheat, so you can restart from the last save point in the event of a crash.

Rare Candies

Grinding in the tall grass and fighting random strangers on the road gets boring after a point. I mean, you can only fight a bug catcher so many times before you start to get frustrated.

So, whenever I feel bored battling again and again just to get my level up for a particular battle, I simply feed my Pokemon rare candies. With this cheat, you’d get an infinite amount of rare candies, so you can level up all your Pokemon without fighting a single battle.

Infinite Money

Having a lot of money in your bank account is a dream everyone has, so until we find a cheat code for that in real life, use this one for the game. Simply activating the cheat will make you the richest 10-year-old in the entire Hoenn region and possibly every other nearby Pokemon region.

Encounter Shiny Pokemon

Shiny Pokemon are extremely rare, not to mention the biggest flex in the Pokemon world. So, if you covet such shiny gems in your team but don’t want to spend hours looking for them in the grass, simply activate this cheat, and every encounter you have in the wild with Pokemon will be shiny.

If you want a shiny Pokemon, just go to where the Pokemon is found, and you’ll encounter a shiny version of it instead.

Infinite Master Balls

You only get one master ball in every playthrough of Pokemon, so you’re limited to only one easy catch. With this cheat, however, we give you the power to catch every Pokemon easily, as it grants you an infinite number of Master Balls.

Walk Through Walls

Pokemon Maps are filled with locations and places you can’t go to. The area might be locked and can only be accessed via an event, you might need a unique code to go somewhere, or you’re simply not allowed to go there.

So just get rid of them all together with this simple cheat. As the name suggests, you’d be able to walk through any wall in the game, including all the solid structures like trees, vehicles, stones, and whatnot; you’d become a ghost floating in Hoenn.

Steal Opponent’s Pokemon

Have you ever thought, ‘damn, my opponent is so strong; he has all the Pokemon I wish I had’?

Well, with the next tip, you don’t have to keep your desire hidden anymore. This cheat will allow you to outright steal any Pokemon your opponent is using, that too mid-battle.

You have to activate the cheat, and when the desired Pokemon shows up, throw a Poké Ball at it, and it will be yours.

Once you steal someone’s Pokemon, the battle will end, regardless of the number of Pokemon remaining in the opponent’s camp. They probably ran away because you cheated.

Misc Items

The Hoenn region might not have a lot of malls, pubs, or even hospitals. But, where the Hoenn region lacks basic public infrastructure, it makes up for it by building many Pokemon Centres and Poke Marts.

And these Poke Mart house some of the most essential items you’ll need as a Pokemon trainer.

To buy these, you’ll need to empty your pockets every time you visit the store. So simply use this cheat, and get every item that the Poke Mart has (and a lot more) and never revisit the Mart, saving you time and money.
