Today the CEO of AYANEO, known as Arthur, held yet another product-sharing session, livestreamed across social media. I was watching via YouTube and was surprised to see a couple of announcements about the now available-to-purchase KONKR Pocket Block, the first being the reveal of a new limited edition variant, and the announcement of not only the screen specs but also what CPU, RAM and battery will be used in this little portable vertical handheld at launch. Oh, and we have the official launch prices too.
Arthur even went as far as showing a little bit of gameplay in his livestream, stating that this "can play PSP, no problem", which I was surprised to hear as this thing is quite compact. So, let's take a look at all of the new details from AYANEO.

KONKR Pocket Block Pricing

At launch, the 2GB model will have an early bird price of $79 and a retail price of $89. I will mention that the early bird pricing of the KONKR Pocket Advance lasted many weeks, so there's likely no need to rush to secure this pricing in the first 48 hours of launch. AYANEO are very respectable with the early bird timeframe.
And then finally, the 3GB model, which also features the new Atoms White colourway, will cost $99 for early birds and $109 at retail, which is what we expect and directly competes with TRIMUI Brick that starts at $79. Arthur has stated this will not be sold on JD.com like the Pocket Advance; this will be sold on their website exclusively to begin with.
Pre-Order Date & Shipping

The KONKR Pocket Block is now available to purchase via AYANEO's Official Website. Chinese customers get first dibs, and their orders begin shipping on 15th October, whereas international orders begin "End of October". And if their previous shipping conundrum of the Pocket Advance is to go by, it is first come, first shipped, so earlier orders get shipped first.
Arthur has also stated there will be no new colour options for the 2GB version, which I know some of you were anticipating, seeing as there were six different variants of the Pocket Advance, so rest assured they're not going to kick you in the balls with new colours in the future if you're a customer of the 2GB version.
