AYANEO are still hard at work trying to ship out thousands of KONKR Pocket Advance handhelds, a device that they did not know was going to be as popular as they thought, so much so that they're behind on shipping orders, which they stated recently in a news post and in their product-sharing livestream today via YouTube.
The next device in the KONKR line is the Pocket Block, a small, portable vertical handheld that takes design inspiration from the GAME BOY. They're clearly trying to target the budget market with this one again, just like the Advance. Full pricing and specifications have been revealed, alongside the ability to buy it today starting at $79 for the 2GB models and $99 for the 3GB models, including this new "Atoms White" colourway.
In today's livestream, Arthur has shown off a new limited edition colourway that can be purchased today, called "Atoms White", which will offer "a clean, futuristic white look with a refined cyber-tech feel". The bottom shell has a slightly frosted transparent look, and a touch of yellow on the main menu button, which looks absolutely stunning if I must say so myself.
The top 3.33" display takes up half ot he handheld, to then be greeted with solid white buttons, a frosted white shell that offers a peek at the plastic latches and undercarriage design, with white buttons and a singular yellow button to give it a small pop of colour. There's also the unique speaker grill and bar under the display to give it that futuristic look across the board, but the white frosted shell adds that cyberpunk look that will undoubtedly go down well with the retro handheld community. I think it's the first time they've done something like this.

Shipping begins on 15th October for Chinese orders and at "End of October" for international orders. Though if it's like the Pocket Advance pre-orders, it will be first come, first shipped, so make sure to get your order in via their official website as soon as possible if you want to be within the first batch shipped, because they're still shipping Pocket Advance orders six weeks after they started!
