Back in July, I caught wind of the new Pocket Vert from AYANEO, a handheld built 'for enthusiasts' that would be 'a true masterpiece'. It very much sounds like it was along the same line of thinking as ModRetro's Palmer Luckey, a handheld made from premium materials that would offer an unprecedented Game Boy experience.
Of course, the Pocket Vert won't be able to play cartridges and will be emulation only, like the rest of AYANEO's devices, but they are promising an upgrade to the legendary DMG screen, with 10x pixel-perfect Game Boy scaling.

The Pocket Vert will have a 3.5" LCD screen according to the post on X shown above, with 1600x1440 resolution and 615 PPI. As of yet, we've seen no images of the actual handheld itself, though with a message of 'stay tuned' at the bottom of the page, it looks like we might be hearing something more soon. As always, I'll keep you all updated on what comes next, but that 10x Game Boy scaling should make fans of the best Game Boy Games very happy!
