Retro Games Ltd (or RGL for those in the know) are well known for their mini console ranges. You might have seen our review of The Spectrum earlier this year, or have already encountered their C64 Mini or the A500 Mini. Eagle-eyed Gamescom attendees have spotted their next tribute computer, a remake of the A1200 Amiga at Gamescom in Cologne, and it comes with a full-sized, built-in keyboard.

The new machine is coming to us in conjunction with PLAION REPLAI, the company who have recently teamed up with Atari to bring the Tiger-Heli Anniversary Edition game to the Atari 7800 for the first time. After the lack of a keyboard with the A500 Mini, retro fans will be hoping that PLAOIN and RGL have put extra care to getting the keyboard element right.

But there's more. After posting a long and somewhat cryptic tweet trying to leave us guessing about what's coming next, RGL announced that there would possibly be an announcement as to the first game coming with the system. Well, word on the ground at Gamescom is that the console will be bundled with The Settlers II, a port that we've been waiting three decades for. Check out the photo of the banner taken by AmigaNG below!

RGL are taking on the mini console market by storm, and as reported by Tom's Hardware, they're set to bring out many more in 2025 and 2026. What would you like to see next? Would they possibly turn to the handheld market too? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
