I'll be completely honest, I never knew this existed until our friends at InsertBid listed it for auction. It's a Japanese electronic ride featuring the one and only Pikachu. It's 5ft tall, features two seats and has a built-in games system in the back, originally released in the 90s.
So if you've ever wanted to go inside Pika... a specific Niki Niko Pikachu Ride, I should say, then you're in luck. Things like this are rarely seen outside of the Japanese amusement parks, and that's exactly where they were stationed, specifically aimed at children.

It was manufactured by a company called Banpresto during the height of Pokémon in the late 90s. It's 5' 7" tall and 300lbs in weight, with a few scuffs and bumps because of the fact that this big yellow fella was in action for years in Japan, outside of department stores and game centres across the country.
Unfortunately, this unit is not operational, nor has it been tested, so it's purely being sold as a display piece or for someone who thinks they can fix it up and get it working.
On working Niko Niko Pikachu rides, you would insert ¥100, which would turn on the ride and activate music, sound effects, and voices, alongside slow, yet dramatic movements that can be activated and somewhat controlled on the inside of the ride.

It lasts for about 60 - 120 seconds. There's no score, no win or lose condition, and no reward; it's simply an electronic experience for Pikachu fans.
