If you’re British and grew up watching Clarkson, Hammond, & May on Top Gear, then I’ve got something incredible for you to watch. You know how there’s the Office America and the original Office UK? Well, a tweet from Clarkson’s Farm has given us an insight into what the UK version of the Minecraft Movie might have looked like, and I’ve loved every second of it.
Yes, someone has put the Top Gear guys in the world of Minecraft, converting an episode of chatting about farming into the blocky masterpiece with some ‘overly-excited’ sheep that nearly end up causing Clarkson a lot of damage in his… well, I’ll just let you find out in your own time.
I loved the banter between these three when watching Top Gear growing up, and while they’re initially known for spinning fast cars around tracks and getting all excited about the newest supercar on the block, there’s something wholesome and incredibly normal about seeing James May tending to a vegetable patch and holding up a blocky tool in Minecraft. And who else thinks that Clarkson could have challenged Jack Black for the role of Steve? It would certainly have been a much different film with a lot more swearing in it, but I would have been down for that!
