Today we received an email stating that the upcoming EZ-FLASH Flash Card for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS is finally coming to the United States and Europe.

Originally the cartridge named the “EZ-Flash Parallel” was revealed earlier this year at a EZ-Flash launch party, but was unfortunately only for sale exclusively in China… until now.

The retailer Senko Games has informed us that samples are being sent to the US and EU for retailers to test before suppliers start sending out products in bulk.

Meaning it is likely that we will see the 3DS/DS Flash Cart being sold worldwide in the coming months, retailing for approximately £25/$30 on Senko’s website.

Senko is also willing to send Retro Dodo a sample to test before release, so stay tuned for that.

The EZ-Flash Parallel hasn’t been released worldwide yet due to many bugs needing to be fixed before shipping. Creating flash carts for different countries can be a cumbersome task so they’re taking their time to make it perfect.

EZ=Flash’s products are very high quality and do exactly as stated, allowing gamers to store a wide selection of ROM files (games) on one cartridge, stopping the unnecessary need of carrying all of your cartridges around with you.

They have mastered flash carts for the Game Boy line, and are now trying to create a flash cart that works perfectly with Nintendo’s 3DS and DS range, which also works with accessories, cheats and more.

There are already some flash carts out there for the Nintendo DS, but EZ-FLASH have always gone above and beyond to make their products better, so I am excited to get my hands on this to test it myself.

And, it looks like you’ll be able to within a few months too, although Senko and EZ-FLASH refuse to mention an exact release datebut my money is that it will launch officially within the next 3 months.
