The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived – Jet Force Gemini is now available on Nintendo Switch Online accounts all over the world.
Previously, the game was only available for users in Japan to play, but everyone’s favourite rocket-powered dog is now on my Nintendo Switch ready for me to kick ant-soldier scum!
We covered the recent news about the newest Nintendo Switch Online releases a couple of weeks ago, and much to our disappointment, Jet Force Gemini was only heading to Japanese Switch consoles.
Listed as Star Twins in Japan, the game was to drop alongside 1080 Snowboarding and Harvest Moon 2.
Imagine knowing that one of my favourite games of all time was out there and avialable to play but not actually ready for me to dive into.
It was almost… almost like that bit where the Grinch steals the Christmas Tree in the film and all the who’s are sad.
But now, Christmas is saved, and I can make sure Mizar has a real terrible time between now and Christmas Day!
Nostalgic Gaming In December!
1080 Snowboarding and Jet Force Gemini were two of the games that I played the most as a kid, and now this tweet from NintendoUK has made my weekend 100% better.
I came to Harvest Moon 64 a little later in life, but this is another title that me and my girlfriend will probably be taking it turns to play over the festive season.
For those of you that don’t know how amazing these games are, I’ve covered them all in our list of the best N64 games.
And trust me, you’re going to want to check all 3 out.
But for me, having the chances to send Juno, Vela, and Lupus (unfortunate name) out into the world again in handheld mode while kicking back on the sofa is the greatest news ever.
Check them out and let us know your thoughts on our socials!
