It’s the end of the world all over again, and this time it’s looking great, in this first look at the upcoming Fallout TV series.
Vanity Fair has revealed a handful of new images that showcase the new series, based on the Fallout games.
The new show, simply titled ‘Fallout’ is being produced by Amazon Prime and is scheduled to debut on the 12th April 2024.
The Fallout TV series will star Ella Purnell as a vault dweller named Lucy, who emerges into the the outside world from an underground vault while wearing that iconic blue and yellow jumpsuit. Lucy’s exit from the vault comes a mere 219 years after an apocalyptic nuclear war devastated the planet in the year 2077. That’s something to look forward to, then!
We’ve also learned that Kyle MacLachlan will be portraying Lucy’s father, Hank, in the show where he will also be filling the role of the vault overseer in Lucy’s subterranean home.

Amazon’s new Fallout TV series is certainly looking the part and appears to be a faithful adaptation of the wastelands we’ve spent hours exploring in the Fallout games.
Aaron Moten star alongside Ella Purnell in the Fallout TV series and will play Maximus, a squire for the Brotherhood of Steel. One of the new images from the show confirms the impressive scale of the iconic power armor with Moten stood next to it.
The husband and wife team of Jonathan Nolan and Lisa joy is helming Fallout’s transition to the small screen after scoring with their previous TV hit, Westworld.
Jonathan is also the sibling of director Christopher Nolan and helped his brother by co-writing incredible movies including The Prestige, The Dark Knight and Interstellar.
The new shots from Vanity Fair include our first looks at several staples of the Fallout series that will be making their television debut next year.
The Brotherhood of Steel are shown both in and out of their power armor suits and we get a close up look of Walton Goggins as ‘The Ghoul’.
Fallout: New Vegas comfortably claimed one of the highest spots in our best PS3 games list, so here’s hoping that the Fallout TV series doesn’t need to be nuked after one season.
