A new Pokémon experience is coming to Universal Studios Japan. Up until now, it's been mainly focused on Super Nintendo World and all things Mario. I've had friends who have been and sent me tonnes of pictures of the Mario Kart rides and Donkey Kong Country, and I've been eternally jealous of them ever since.

It's not just PokéPark Kanto that's getting a realistic Pokémon Experience, however, as a new Pokémon Experience is being born at USJ. A tweet from the park explains that a Global Deployment Project has been launched, with a hyper-realistic experience that 'stimulates all five senses'.

I know that I've got you all excited about this concept, but that's all the information I have at the minute. Yes, I agree - they should have waited until they had something a little more concrete because it's all I can think about now. What do they mean, 'all five senses'? Are we going to be tasting what Pokémon eat, smelling what Electabuzz smells like after he's had a walk in the woods?

Hopefully, the Pokémon expansion will come to other Universal Studios parks in the near future. None of them are exactly close to me here in the UK, but it would make a trip to Florida even more exciting!

More info coming soon!
