French designer Airbricks, real name Aurélien, has hit the 10K votes needed to send his projects in front of the LEGO Ideas board a whopping 7 times. He's a master at his craft, creating amazing sets that push the boundaries of LEGO design. He's made a stunning violin, the Jumanji Boardgame, an incredibly detailed hourglass, and many more amazing sets that are racking up votes like the house from Malcolm in the Middle, and a Parisienne Metro Station.
But it's Aurélien's love of Sony consoles that has attracted our attention once again. I previously covered his PS1 LEGO Ideas set which is incredibly detailed, and after releasing his PS3 build on the 3rd of March, he's back just over a week later with a new PS4 set that is already attracting a lot of positive attention.

That angled, minimalist shape; the all-black exterior; the trademark blue light that runs across the console - Aurélien has perfectly captured every detail of the PS4 in brick form, sticking to the original proportions of the console to create a set that could pass for the real thing from a distance!

And it only gets better when you look inside. One thing that I love about Aurélien's work is that he always thinks about the chips and gubbins on the inside of a console as well as perfecting the overall shape and casing. Check out the disc tray and processor in the picture above; while they've been imagined and aren't functional, Aurélien has worked hard to create pieces that make the console feel as lifelike as possible.

Take a look at the wireless controller too. It's got two analog sticks, the touch pad in the center of the controller, and the iconic action buttons. The D-Pad looks a little flat, but the controller is instantly recognisable as a PS4 remote, which is mad when you stop to think that this whole thing is made out of LEGO bricks!
Aurélien has received over 100 votes in just 24 hours, giving him another 365 days to add to the 59 he had left. He currently has 164 supporters and 424 days to get to the next milestone of 1,000, which I'm confident he will, especially considering his PS1 LEGO set is currently on 8,992 supporters, all of whom will want to back his other projects.
It's free to show your support for a LEGO Ideas project; just head to the LEGO Ideas page and show the PS4 some love!
