When I first posted about the Sega & THEM Skates Jet Set Radio collab back in May, I thought we'd hit the jackpot. Those bright green shoes stood out 18 miles away and were the perfect way to celebrate 25 years of Jet Set Radio. But then THEM announced that they were going turbo with a new limited edition, and now I can't take my eyes off them!

Moving from the 901 to the 909 shell and using an 80mm black frame system, this officially licensed and limited edition skate boasts Jet Set Radio graphics on the liner and a cool translucent blue boot, all with that trademark Jet Set Radio Green on the laces and buckles.

THEM say that the skate delivers 'smooth control and durability' for those planning on buying these skates and taking them for a spin, especially with the new anti-rocker frame, but I think these would be simply going up on a shelf for me to look at. They look too good to scuff up when I tank it trying to pretend I'm good at skating (and not 35 with zero skills).

The Jet Set Radio Turbo skate costs €343.95 for the fully complete skate, or also comes in Street Mod Boot Only for €300.95 and a boot with no liner for €279.95. Head to THEM Skates for more details and to see other merchandise on offer!
