I remember when I bought the first album by The Darkness while on holiday and had to just sit and read the booklet for 2 weeks without any access to play the CD. I did the same with Twilight Princess on the Wii because I didn't have the Motion Plus controller needed to play it. And now, I'm doing the same with the 8BitDo N64 controller for the Analogue 3D. At least I've been getting my practice in over the years, huh?

When it comes to the Analogue 3D, we've waited patiently, felt excitement, and felt betrayal. And while the system itself is still delayed, you can pick up its controller from Amazon for £34.99/$39.99 and pretend you're gaming in 4K on your TV.

I love the look of the original N64 controller, but it's not a great remote to hold when it comes to ergonomics. In other words, it's uncomfortable as heck! This 8BitDo offering looks much more like the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, which is great as it also works with both the Switch and Switch 2, as well as on Windows and Android devices.

Despite telling a customer that the console was going to arrive in July, Analogue has 'assured us' that the new console will now arrive in August. I don't know whether to believe this, but at least I can put my faith in my white controller from 8BitDo and use it on my Switch - thanks for at least giving me something 3D related, guys!
