When it comes to retro gaming icons, you can’t really get bigger than Tetris. Show anyone a Tetrimono of any shape and they’ll tell you it’s a Tetris piece. From the Game Boy to Apple TV, 7-Eleven, and beyond, it’s a worldwide phenomenon with an incredible story that Digital Eclipse along with the Tetris Company is working to keep alive for future generations in their newest release.
We recently covered the announcement about Tetris Forever, Digital Eclipse’s newest interactive edutainment title celebrating the world’s first literal blockbuster, its origins in Russia, how it was picked up by Nintendo, and much more. Having chatted with Chris Kohler about the company’s edutainment packages, we’re incredibly excited to put some time into experiencing Tetris Forever firsthand and immersing ourselves in four decades of Tetris while playing a selection of incredible games, some of which never made it out of Japan!
