I like my retro gaming merchandise, ask my partner and she'll say I have a problem, my office is riddled with it, and so is my wardrobe, so when I saw SuperPotionLabs latest announcement, I grinned knowing the pain it would cause my fiancee, but also because of how much cooler my office and face will look after my purchase.
They've just announced an upcoming merchandise drop featuring two of the best Dreamcast games ever made, Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. You can hear the soundtrack, feel the pace of the game and smell the ocean vibes as soon as I mentioned it, right? No, just me?
This release officially goes live on the 10th July on SuperPotionLabs.com, and features the iconic disc art of both games in pillow form, alongside a nostalgic hat that pays tribute to the first games, first level.
The pillows themself have a side zipper so that you can wash the cover if need be alongside printing on both sides, coming in at 40cm in diameter, so not too big, but not too small, which is a real shame as I could have replaced my bedroom pillow with this out of pure spite for my partner.
The hat is my favourite of the releases, featuring Stage: 01 City Escape, alongside the notification of your 1st Mission "Escape from the military pursuit", an iconic part of Sonic Adventure 2 on Dreamcast.
From what I can tell this is exclusively for sale in USA, as I've tried purchasing their other pillows in the past with no luck getting international shipping, which is a real shame (my partner would strongly disagree). It's a limited drop too, so keep your eyes peeled.
